Leadership Team
Glenn and Melody, our senior pastors, arrived in 1989 when the church comprised of only 16 members. Since then they have created an atmosphere of love, community, worship, and outreach. Their passion and leadership are evident across every facet of The Worship Place.
Under their ministry, many have experienced the transformative touch of the Holy Spirit, received deliverance, and found healing. In the ever-evolving landscape of today's world, Glenn and Melody continue to guide the church forward, ensuring its continued growth into the presence of God.
Jonathan Tackett, MD, and Savannah Eliseo-Tackett, JD, actively engage in various facets of ministry at The Worship Place. Serving as inspirational speakers and ministers imparting their passion and vision. They have a deep commitment to reaching the lost, healing the hurting, and personal development within the church. Jonathan and Savannah assist in pastoral work and are involved in many aspects of church leadership. Savannah is also involved in Ladies Ministries.
Felix and Nora Delgado pastor Iglesia REA our Spanish speaking congregation at The Worship Place. Felix has a podcast called Refrescando El Alma that is widely listened to in Spanish speaking countries.
Nora leads in ministry and women's ministries. She is the director of The Peppermint Academy, a 4 star Christian daycare located in The Worship Place. Nora is powerful communicator and a prayerful woman of God.
Jim and Kerry Muldowney are leaders both in ministry and in deliverance ministries. A dynamic couple reaching into the community to bring emotional and spiritual healing. Many have been delivered and healed in this ministry.
Jim and Kerry teach weekly helping people understand deliverance, and bringing together community and support for Kingdom living.
John and Joan Tackett are leaders in ministry. They bring decades of combined pastoral ministry to our leadership team. John and Joan Tackett have served for over 15 years as Senior Pastor’s as well as excelled in careers in the education and health care fields.
Jerry and Jessalyn Fitzner are leaders working with the youth. This couple has a deep passion to see young people move into greater depths of God. They have weekly classes, fellowship and support groups. We are seeing the young people move with confidence into their God ordained destinies in our church and city.
Joane Mapas leads in Children's Ministry, Puppet ministry, Outreach Ministry and Prayer groups. She is passionate and committed to excellence in everything she does. Her hands are involved in many of the different aspects of church work. Including Event planning, Presentation and Childrens Programs. A teacher and devoted servant of the gospel.
Linda Kasiah is over the Acts Ministry Group that is actively engaged in reaching out to those who are sick, hospitalized or facing unexpected hardship. Providing hot meals, cards, and financial assistance to people in need. Linda also teaches a much loved New Birth class several times throughout the year to new members who are interested in a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
Philip and Tye Moten are leaders in Children's ministry and Prayer Groups. Their desire is for Children to be equipped for their generation. We understand children are one of the most important parts of the church. The consistency and enthusiasm Philip and Tye bring are a blessing to The Worship Place.
