Meet Our Pastors
Glenn grew up as a rebellious teenager, part of the post hippie drug culture of Southern California until he was radically filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 17.
At 18, Glenn preached his first sermon. After traveling all over California for 2 years as a evangelist, he met and married Melody Elms who was a pastors daughter. Melody has a legacy of ministry in her family.
Together they traveled for 5 more years of ministry preaching and evangelising traveling the United States, they settled in Greensboro N.C. in 1989 to begin their pastoral ministry.
Pastor Glenn is highly regarded as bold leader, ministering the Word of God with insight and passion. A man of great faith and who has helped many, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Known for his dynamic personality, relevant messages and humor. He is deeply loved in the community.
Glenn's messages convey his passion as a lifelong learner. Referencing science, physics, philosophy, and history, commonly clarifying biblical truths and deep understandings.
He has a BA of Philosophy and has spent many years studying Christian Apologetics. He has a heart for helping young people find their way out of atheism and agnosticism back into a spiritually satisfying relationship with God.
Melody has served in ministry since she was a young teenager. The daughter of Pastor David and Linda Elms she brings with her, a legacy of ministry in her family.

She also serves as the leader the Music Department at The Worship Place. She is a singer/musician/songwriter and music producer.
Glenn and Melody have 2 children: Jordan, a computer architect who works in Development Operations for national security, Jordan is also a talented pianist.
Savannah Eliseo-Tackett is a lawyer and a singer/songwriter with 2 albums available.
Savannah is married to Jonathan Tackett MD, who also serves in ministry at The Worship Place. They have an adorable son named Vincent and a baby girl, Valentina.
Melody has a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and is a North Carolina Bar Certified Paralegal.
